Entertech Istanbul Technopark and Avcilar Municipality are collaborating on the Earthquake Prevention and Search & Rescue Technologies Hackathon, which will take place in AVÇİM on March 10-12. The focus areas for this hackathon are listed below:
- Communication and Remote Sensing Technologies
- Data Processing, Classification, and Tracking Technologies
- Search & Rescue, Detection, Listening, Identification, and Robotic Technologies
- Earthquake-Resistant Building Materials Technologies
- Urban Transformation Optimization Technologies
- Digital Twin and Earthquake Simulation, Search & Rescue Scenario Technologies
- Seismic Damping Technologies
- Other Technologies Related to These Areas
Supportive training and mentoring will be provided to help you develop your ideas in these areas.

1st Place Team: 20.000 TL
2nd Place Team: 10.000 TL
3rd Place Team: 5.000 TL
Participation Requirements
- You can apply as a team of at least 3 and a maximum of 5 people for the event, or individuals who wish to can apply individually. The selection committee will match applications with less than 3 people to form teams appropriately.
- The project must be coded/produced for the first time in this event.
- Students, recent graduates, and working individuals can apply.
- The event will start with opening speeches on the evening of March 10th and end with the Award Ceremony on the evening of March 12th.
- Participants will not leave the event area from the beginning to the end of the event.
