The Space-Software Technologies Hackathon, supported by New Senses Space Technology Health Research, will be held on July 28-29-30 with the support of Entertech Istanbul Technopark and Avcilar Municipality Applied Solution and Innovation Center. The focus areas for the hackathon are listed below.

Focus Areas

  • Analysis of Space Data: Analysis of space data using artificial intelligence algorithms and making discoveries.
  • Automatic Decision Making in Space Missions: Developing automatic decision-making processes in space missions using artificial intelligence algorithms.
  • Space Communication and Data Transmission: Work on artificial intelligence-based communication systems and data transmission technologies in space.
  • AI-Supported Medical Diagnosis: Diagnosing diseases and improving diagnosis processes using artificial intelligence in the field of health.
  • Medical Image Processing and Analysis: Analyzing medical images using artificial intelligence methods and using them in disease diagnosis.
  • AI-Based Treatment Recommendations: Developing personalized treatment recommendations using artificial intelligence in healthcare.
  • Emotional Intelligence and Psychological Analysis: Analyzing psychological conditions and emotional intelligence levels using artificial intelligence algorithms.
  • Holographic Microphone and Sound Analysis: The use of holographic microphones that allow three-dimensional recording of sound and integration with sound analysis using artificial intelligence.
  • Personalized Medical Care: Creating and managing personalized medical care plans using artificial intelligence.
  • Ethics and Security: Development of ethics and security standards in artificial intelligence applications and ensuring compliance.
  • AI-Supported Psychometrics: Developing and evaluating psychometric tests using artificial intelligence techniques.

*Supportive training will be provided during the event to help you generate ideas in these areas, refine your existing ideas, and present your ideas effectively.

Participation Conditions and Explanations:

  • Individuals who have knowledge in Artificial Intelligence, Java, .NET, iOS, Android, System, Network, Cybersecurity, they are students or graduates of departments related to software at universities, can apply.
  • Participants must be over 18 years old.
  • After the pre-evaluation to be held on July 24, 2023, the main and alternate participants who will participate in the event will be determined, and information will be provided accordingly.
  • The event will be competed in teams of at least 3 and a maximum of 5 people. Both individual and team applications will be accepted. The evaluation committee will match applications with less than 3 people appropriately to form teams.
  • Business ideas can be developed during the event or worked on based on previously considered business ideas. However, in the preliminary evaluation, the motivation for participation, not the business idea, will be taken into account.
  • The event will start with opening speeches on July 28th, Friday, and end with the Award Ceremony on July 30th, Sunday.
  • Participants will not leave the event area from the beginning to the end of the event.
  • Food and beverage needs will be provided by the organization throughout the event.
  • If deemed appropriate, transportation support will be provided to participants coming from outside Istanbul.
